Aquatic turtles are by far the hardest animal to place in rescue, as they are surprisingly high-maintainence and need large aquatic environments with powerful filtration. They live decades and do not tend to enjoy handling.
A large stock-tank or trough with an external canister filter or custom filter is the ideal housing for an aquatic turtle. Aquatic turtles also need a basking area with UVB.
